About AAF-Orlando

AAF-Orlando

The American Advertising Federation - Orlando is a division of the American Advertising Federation (AAF) and is composed locally of 300 members. We aid our membership with monthly events and socials focused on training and industry insight. Yearly we give multiple scholarships to local college students, help the community with a Public Service Campaign benefitting a local non-profit, and work with our lobbyist to further legislation to help our industry. 

AAF-Orlando's membership represents every major industry and we strive to welcome anyone who has an affiliation with advertising or marketing throughout Central Florida. We focus on diversity in our membership and encourage small, medium, or large businesses to get involved and learn more about the advertising resources in our area.

Mission Statement

The American Advertising Federation-Orlando is dedicated to serving its members by protecting and advancing interests, including the freedom to truthfully advertise legal products. AAF-Orlando will fulfill this mission through effective government relations, professional development, public education, advertising education, advertising standards, public service and recognition of excellence.

Our Structure

AAF-Orlando is comprised of two organizations: AAF-Orlando and Ad 2 Orlando. The parent organization, AAF-Orlando, gives all professionals of any age the opportunity to learn, network and help forward government initiatives that benefit the advertising community. Ad 2 Orlando holds the same values with a focus on younger professionals under the age of 33. 

AAF-Orlando is part of the 4th District, made up of chapters in Florida and the Caribbean. 

Nationally, the AAF has established itself as the oldest national advertising trade association, representing 40,000 professionals in the advertising industry. The AAF has a national network of 200 ad clubs located in ad communities across the country. Through its 226 college chapters, the AAF provides 8,000 advertising students with real-world case studies and recruitment connections to corporate America. 

Ad 2 Orlando

Who are we? 

We’re you! Ad 2 Orlando is made up of passionate individuals in Central Florida who want to further their career while having fun, meeting new people and help the community.

Our members are between 18-32 and, more importantly, we’re taking control of our careers. By becoming a part of Ad 2, we know we’re doing everything we can to further ourselves, our skills and even our industry.

We’re 40,000 strong, nationwide – full of graphic designers, account executives, media specialists, PR professionals, artists, writers, conceptual-thinkers… Diversity at its best, together in a place where we can network and improve each other.

Ad 2 / AAF

Ad 2 is the young professional division of the American Advertising Federation. What that means is you get to test your skills locally while having a national support system to back you up. After all, Ad 2 is a group of forward thinking and forward moving people looking to make a difference, both professionally, personally and throughout the community.
