About Our Organization
With over 200 member clubs nationally, the American Advertising Federation (AAF) has established itself as the oldest national advertising trade association, representing over 40,000 professionals in the advertising industry. Through its 226 college chapters, the AAF provides 8,000 advertising students with real-world case studies and recruitment connections to corporate America.
The American Advertising Federation – Orlando is part of the AAF’s 4th District, encompassing chapters in Florida and the Caribbean. AAF-Orlando is comprised of two organizations: AAF-Orlando and Ad 2 Orlando. The parent organization, AAF-Orlando, gives all professionals of any age the opportunity to learn, network and help forward government initiatives that benefit the advertising community. Ad 2 Orlando holds the same values with a focus on younger professionals under the age of 32.
AAF-Orlando’s membership represents every major industry and we strive to welcome anyone who has an affiliation with advertising or marketing throughout Central Florida. We focus on diversity in our membership and encourage small, medium, or large businesses to get involved and learn more about the advertising resources in our area.
We support our membership of over 100 professionals and companies with monthly events and activities focused on education, networking and industry insight. We also provide scholarships to local college students seeking degrees in the advertising disciplines, help the community with a Public Service Campaign benefitting a local non-profit and work with our lobbyist to further legislation to help our industry.
Since 1947, AD 2 has represented the future of advertising through its ability to unite young, talented professionals across the country as one group. With over 1,000 members and 25 chapters nationwide today, Ad 2 creates opportunities for young advertising professionals to gain the contacts and opportunities they need to become tomorrow’s industry leaders through educational and networking events, public service opportunities and government relations activities.
The American Advertising Federation-Orlando is dedicated to serving its members by protecting and advancing interests, including the freedom to truthfully advertise legal products. AAF-Orlando will fulfill this mission through effective government relations, professional development, public education, advertising education, advertising standards, public service and recognition of excellence.
