Bauzá & Associates, a full-service agency specializing in the Hispanic market, seeks a marketing account executive at its Orlando office to help manage the agency's rapidly-growing advertising client roster.

The position requires an entrepreneurial and strategic mindset as well as strong organizational, planning, presentation and writing skills. The candidate should have solid knowledge and  experience in managing Hispanic marketing programs including strategy development, creative, production, and results analysis.

In some cases, the Account Executive will be the primary client contact and be required to assess needs and facilitate the development and execution of agreed upon deliverables tied to individual programs and campaigns.

The Sales Executives will be responsible for selling our video production services to local businesses throughout the Central Florida area. POSITION DESCRIPTION: Marketing Coordinator at Florida Press Service

REPORTS TO: Vice President Sales

MAJOR PURPOSE:
To develop, analyze and interpret market, media and consumer research to create persuasive sales materials to assist key account managers in the sale of advertising for all Florida Press Service members to achieve the company's annual advertising revenue goal and expense budget.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
To create, write, design and develop sales materials, including but not limited to advertising category/sales proposal books, fliers, and brochures for presentations.
Analyze and interpret market, media and consumer research to identify applications to support the sales staff.
Manage and strategically implement multimedia marketing plans in association with sales efforts/client needs.
Initiate multiple sales projects from conception through completion and maintain up-to-date project schedules, while ensuring significant deliverables in a highly time-sensitive environment.
Prepare and present statistical analysis for sales presentations.
Supplement all proposals with target-directed advertising/marketing research, demographic data, penetration maps of consumer share, and print budget recommendations. Deliver marketing strategy in client presentations.
Maintain within budget limitations, an adequate library of reference publications, secondary research data and related market information. Consistently review current research data and propose alternatives where applicable.
Conduct research on alternative newspaper/print and digital marketing methods including promotional efforts and sales strategies and assist clients to increase profits and sales through emerging newspaper media.
Analyze competitor media buys for clients and strategically re-work the buy to include print and newspaper web/digital to maximize reach at a reduced cost.
Consult with newspaper account executives, sales management, and marketing departments to develop sales presentations.
Establish and maintain a high-level working knowledge of the Florida newspaper industry, client classifications and all accounts within Florida Press Service.

REQUIREMENTS
College degree in marketing or advertising preferred, or equivalent related work experience. Demonstrate excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills.

Software/Research Tools - Required
Microsoft Office, strong emphasis on PowerPoint and Excel; Scarborough Research, Claritas, ABC (Audit Bureau of Circulation), SRDS (Standard Rate and Data Service)

Software/Research Tools - Preferred
MapPoint, AEMS (Advertising Event Management System), MRI (Mediamark Research and Intelligence), TNS Media Intelligence, newspaper industry knowledge or background preferred,

WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:
Works under the general supervision of the Vice President of Sales. Works closely with other staff members to coordinate overall sales and service effort on accounts.

Special Requirements - Willing to work overtime, holidays, or weekends if required to meet deadlines or client needs.

Classification: This is a non-exempt hourly full time position with benefits.

General Description:

Responsible for concept, creative development and graphic design for advertising and strategic communications, including traditional media, print publications, web/interactive, and video. Establishes conceptual and stylistic direction for the Valencia brand. Manages creative production from concept to delivery. Supervises a design team of full-time, part-time and freelance graphic designers, web designers and copywriters. Creative director works closely with account services team, public relations team, interactive/IT team, staff photographer and traffic/production coordinator.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution in a discipline deemed appropriate by the hiring authority or a combination of education and experience that is deemed appropriate by the hiring authority [Required.]

2. Graphic art and design direction experience in a professional in-house or agency environment. 3-5 years agency experience is preferred. Presentation portfolio should contain examples of successful integrated advertising and marketing campaigns which include traditional and interactive touch points; examples of publication development.

3. Proven ability to manage and lead a creative team.

4. Experience with concept, design, production and delivery of tactics for integrated marketing communication plans.

5. Understanding and experience in production processes as they relate to the execution of print, outdoor, new media, and digital/electronic communication products.
