4-Month Contract Position

We’re seeking a Senior Copywriter with 5+ years of experience to join our Branding & Creative team at Hilton Grand Vacations for a 4-month contract position.

The ideal candidate is a creative, adaptable writer who can bring our brand to life with every word in print and digital collateral that aligns with our company’s business goals. This 40-hour/week position will last four months and requires you to work on-site during standard business hours Monday – Friday.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Conceptualize and craft clear, consistent and original copy that conveys a brand, delivers information, and triggers action across all channels, including print, email, web, digital marketing, social media, blog posts, mobile and video
Audits content to ensure content is accurate, current, engaging, has a consistent appearance, is of the highest quality, and on-brand
Collaborates with designers to make copy and imagery work together
Maintains a steady workflow for creating, editing, and publishing content under the supervision of the Director, Creative & Content Strategy

SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY

Proven editorial (creative copywriting, editing and proofreading) and content creation skills
Impeccable language, spelling and grammatical skills
Experience with brand storytelling, and managing brand identity and positioning
Proficient understanding of major social media platforms and measurement tools and SEO
Ability to intuitively understand what the audience needs to know and how they want to consume it across various mediums
Skilled at brainstorming and concepting
Ability to effectively set and meet multiple project deadlines simultaneously
Possess excellent verbal and written customer service and communications skills
Quickly and easily adapts to changing mandates and priorities
Strong attention to detail to highlight and rectify inconsistencies and errors
Familiarity with AP style and ability to master Hilton Grand Vacations’ brand voice
Working knowledge of design, advertising and marketing constructs

EXPERIENCE

5+ years of professional copywriting experience
Proven ability to craft copy that embodies a brand while and drives conversions and engagement
Strong messaging and conceptual abilities for various demographics across varied mediums
Experience editing and proofing copy for grammar, quality and consistency in standards and style
Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
Demonstrated ability to complete projects independently and as part of a creative team
Compelling portfolio of work that demonstrates high quality copywriting and a range of campaigns and projects
