UCF Online Marketing Specialist

UCF Online is responsible for the planning, development and implementation of strategic marketing initiatives, including identifying high-converting marketing channel strategies for the team’s brand campaigns. The position’s main objective is to assist in the creation of innovative and compelling marketing campaigns and strategies that will drive awareness and enrollment for UCF Online.

  • Develop new strategies/enhancements for UCF Online Initiatives, value propositions and unique selling propositions to various market segments
  • Project manager and liaise with internal creative, production, web team, and various cross-department stakeholders
  • Review and report on UCF Online PPC and SEO performance, including forecast tracking and campaign metric monitoring
  • Manage media budget, reconciliations, and allocations, including obtaining vendor quotes, submitting purchase orders, and processing payments through the university’s finance and accounting procedures
  • Define audience segmentation/profiling, including building out unique targeting personas to assist in asset development and channel selection
  • Foster the development of innovative marketing solutions tailored to UCF brand characteristics
  • Adheres to branding requirements and makes sure that all advertising, marketing and communications are in line with UCF graphic standards and UCF brand
  • Create framework, outlines, presentations and documents for management
  • Develop/suggest enhancements and improvements to marketing materials (website, banner, directory copy, email, landing pages, brochure, e-newsletter, print, tradeshow/conference, white paper, podcast, webinar, and demos) with the goal of increasing brand awareness, student acquisition and student retention
  • Act as final quality control for copy/content/design for selected projects
  • Engage in monthly audits to validate marketing materials, messages and placements for quality and accuracy
  • Work with the UCF Online Connect Center team to facilitate insight sharing and marketing campaign support for student acquisition and retention-based activities
  • Coordinate and collaborate with paid search and SEO vendors on lead generation efforts, working to find new sources and methods for enhancing lead generation efforts
  • Help to develop, monitor and manage the UCF Online social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Twitter
  • Support our multimedia requirements and needs through project management of various video production projects
  • Jointly own all related marketing & media deliverables and work together to ensure that all timelines and objectives are met
