Board Positions

For the 2017 - 2018 board year, we have several positions needing to be filled.

ADDY Awards Director

As director, you'll oversee the American Advertising Awards Committee who is responsible for planning and executing the call-to-entries process, entry judging, and the awards ceremony for the local Orlando competition, as well as forwarding winners to district.

Membership Director

As director, you'll oversee the Membership Committee. This committee is responsible for maintaining good relationships with our current members, reaching out to potential members, and maintaining the membership software.

Public Service Director

As director, you'll oversee the Public Service initiatives of AAF-Orlando. This includes coordinating a Fall and Spring Ad Help Day to assist local nonprofits.

Government Relations Director

As director, you'll oversee Government Relations initiatives. This includes coordinating one local government relations event, promoting Ad Day in Tally and Ad Day on the Hill, and disseminating information from the District level to our members through the Communications Committee.

Programs Director

As director, you'll oversee the Programs Committee. The Programs Committee is responsible for social and professional development events, as well as, overseeing AD X Orlando.

PR Chair
The PR Chair manages public relations for AAF-Orlando by creating press releases and reaching out to members of the press.
Content Chair
The Content Chair is responsible for managing the AAF-Orlando blog by publishing monthly Member Spotlights, agency submitted guest blogs and writing several AAF-Orlando blogs throughout the year.
Creative Chair
The Creative Chair creates supporting graphics and creative for AAF-Orlando events and efforts.
Social Media Chair
The Social Media Chair manages Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and Instagram for AAF-Orlando. This also include Live updates from our events.
Email Marketing Chair
The Email Marketing Chair is responsible for creating and sending emails to our members and community via the AAF-Orlando MailChimp account.
Website Chair
The Website Chair is responsible for maintaining the AAF-Orlando website. This includes managing the Job Board, making content updates, and assisting with blog posts.


Social Event Chair
The Social Event Chair coordinates socials for our members and potential members for meet and greets and keeping things fun.
AD X Orlando Chair
The AD X Orlando Chair is responsible for coordinating the AD X week in February with partner organizations.
