Manager, Digital Marketing/Web Experience

Summary

The Digital Marketing Manager-Web Experience owns The IIA’s website and SEO strategy, including driving organic traffic, website content management, optimizing all aspects of the user experience, and recommending actions to meet site users’ expectations and contribute to the organization’s revenue objectives. They will work closely with the marketing team, analytics, technology, and business unit stakeholders to continuously improve all aspects of the website and experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Formulate, implement, and own the SEO strategy for TheIIA.org to increase organic search ranking.

Optimize site conversion. Design and manage continuous improvement through approved testing plans across products and audience segments.

Collaborate with IT and BI teams to provide performance reports and regular updates on campaign optimization efforts.

Partner with business unit leaders, product owners, and marketing managers to establish and apply segmentation and personalization.
Own all assigned aspects of the Episerver CMS, including the distributed content management process, sponsor ad serving and management, etc.

Lead UX to improve the current experience and plan for future website iterations.

Other duties as assigned.

Provides overall direction, evaluation, and professional development of direct reports. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Education and/or Skills:

 

A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related discipline.

Must have +5 years of marketing experience with at least 3 years of experience in digital marketing.

Strong experience with digital marketing platforms such as Google Analytics, CRM, CMS, e-commerce tools, and ad serving like AdButler.

Strong experience in SEO, site search, content management, and UX.

Excellent analytical skills and ability to work with large datasets.

Knowledge of content layout with the ability to use content management systems and html/CSS.

Knowledge of best practices in online marketing and experience in delivering qualified traffic, conversion, and revenue.

Deep understanding of web metrics, digital analytics, and the ability to generate, analyze, and interpret data.

Ability to work cross-functionally with product marketing, marketing communications, design, web development, IT, and sales operations teams.

Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Strong communication and presentation skills.

Ability to work independently and lead a team.

 

Technical Skills   

Expert ability to work and understand digital infrastructure and software related to web development and design, Google Analytics, and site search functionality. Experience with Episerver and Microsoft Dynamics is a plus.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Computer Skills

Strong ability to work in a computerized environment with knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Web-related computer skills listed above.
