Position Summary
4Roots is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator who will be responsible for supporting project coordination, digital campaign execution, event marketing initiatives, and administrative functions across the marketing department. This position plays a key part in keeping the department organized and on track to achieve desired outcomes. Responsibilities include managing schedules, maintaining digital platforms, coordinating with internal teams, capturing and organizing content, and ensuring communications are delivered accurately and on time.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Coordinate marketing projects and manage campaign timelines, ensuring deliverables are completed accurately and on schedule.
- Support the execution of digital marketing campaigns, including email communications, event promotions, and online messaging.
- Draft and build email newsletters, announcements, and marketing communications using online platforms such as Constant Contact or similar tools.
- Maintain and update website content including event listings, workshops, campus updates, and program pages.
- Coordinate marketing support for events, workshops, donor programs, and community initiatives across the 4Roots Farm campus.
- Assist with scheduling and monitoring social media content and gathering marketing content that supports programs and initiatives throughout the organization.
- Capture photos and video content during events and campus activities to support marketing storytelling.
- Maintain and organize digital marketing assets including photos, templates, and campaign materials.
- Collaborate with internal teams to collect content, coordinate messaging, and ensure marketing initiatives align with organizational priorities.
- Maintain inventory and coordinate ordering for: staff uniforms, stakeholder gifts, retail items, and program/event support materials.
- Track performance metrics for email campaigns, social media, and event promotions and assist with reporting on marketing results.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field (equivalent experience)
- 2+ years of experience in marketing coordination, communication, or digital marketing
- Strong organization and project coordination skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create engaging copy for digital platforms.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
Preferred:
- Basic design skills to support content creation.
- Experience supporting event marketing or nonprofit communications.
- Experience with social media platforms and scheduling tools.
- Basic photography or video capturing skills.
- Experience with website content management systems.
- Familiarity with brand and nonprofit mission.
